Summary of Job Description:
We are seeking a multi-skilled Line Technician to support the Maintenance Engineer with operational functions, including breakdowns, machine cover, problem-solving, data collection, and routine maintenance. The ideal candidate will have a technical background, excellent communication skills, and a strong belief in taking ownership and accountability.
Job Responsibilities:
* To actively assist the Maintenance Engineer with operational functions, including breakdowns, machine cover, problem-solving, data collection, and routine maintenance.
* To investigate faults and determine root causes, following up on actions to sustain improvements.
* To take accountability for routine/standard breakdowns across production lines.
Requirements:
* A time served apprenticeship or equivalent, and 2-3 years manufacturing experience OR working towards NVQ/BTech Electrical or Mechanical or equivalent.
* Excellent communication skills.
* A strong belief in taking ownership and accountability.
* The ability to make decisions and liaise at all levels in a positive manner.
Work Schedule:
This is a continental shift-based role with an 8-week pattern of 2 days, 2 nights, then 4 days off.
