About the Land Development Agency
The Land Development Agency is a commercial, semi-State body that seeks to maximise the supply of affordable homes on public and other land in a financially sustainable manner. It supports the creation of thriving communities and delivers ongoing positive social impact.
The agency is overseen by an independent board of directors and has €5 billion of equity capital committed by the Government. It can also borrow up to €1.25 billion.
The LDA has commenced construction on several projects on State land, with a delivery pipeline exceeding 17,000 homes. It works in partnership with the country's largest homebuilders and will deliver a further 8,000 homes under Project Tosaigh.
The LDA is working on large-scale strategic areas through master-planning and planning applications in locations such as Limerick Colbert Quarter, the Digital Hub in Dublin, and Sandy Road in Galway.

Job Title: Sales Completion Manager
The Sales Completion Manager reports to The Property Executive and is involved in all stages of the development cycle, from initial design through to pre-launch, conveyancing, and post-sales aftercare. This role requires a self-starter with strong attention-to-detail, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Working with Development Management teams and appointed design teams on devising optimum affordable housing schemes to support site acquisition and planning strategies during pre-acquisition and pre-planning design stages.
2. Liaising with legal advisors, property advisors, local authorities, design team members, financial institutions, affordable purchasers, and third-party service providers to advance conveyancing of units.
3. Responding to inquiries regarding specific portfolios/projects/units in a timely and professional manner to deliver homeowner satisfaction.
4. Designing and managing customer care experiences, serving as an escalation point to resolve new home-owner concerns professionally and in a timely manner.
5. Managing both internal and external stakeholders.
6. Robust document management and maintenance of information trackers.
7. Preparing tax, utility, and service charge apportionment calculations.
8. Liaising with stakeholders regarding snagging and completion process and post-sales, providing new home-owners with detailed explanations and demonstrations of their home's features.
9. Coordinating internal and external teams to log, track, and resolve issues arising to facilitate repairs to resolution.
10. Compiling closing documents and fulfilling closing requirements.
11. Maintaining accurate and robust records and information.
12. Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting requirements.
13. Developing policies, processes, procedures, and guidelines, ensuring their effective implementation.
14. Ad hoc projects and tasks as they arise.
Person Specifications:
- University graduate with a degree in a relevant construction, property, or legal discipline desirable.
- 5+ years' experience working in conveyancing, real estate, legal services, property, or construction.
- Customer-focused problem-solving skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Understanding of property sales from pre-launch to sales management through to post-sales.
- Excellent communication skills are essential, including face-to-face, phone, and email interactions.
- A self-starter with excellent organisational skills and ability to multitask is required.
- Ability to execute in relatively ambiguous and complex situations, prioritising and juggling multiple actions at once, work independently, be self-motivated, and action-oriented.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel and Word.
- High-level interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with multiple stakeholders.
- Previous experience handling confidential and commercially sensitive information.
- Exercises sound judgment, tact, diplomacy, confidentiality, and professionalism.
- Strong work ethic with an ability to meet regular and tight deadlines.
- Full, clean driving licence and own transport.
