As a Mortgage Broker you will be the first point of contact for clients, providing expert advice and guiding them through the mortgage process. You will receive ongoing training and support to help you excel and progress in your career. Functions of Mortgage Broker: Advising clients on mortgage options tailored to their needs. Managing the mortgage process, including the preparation, submission, and tracking of applications with lenders. Ensuring accurate and timely data entry into internal and external systems. Liaising with clients and lenders to ensure smooth processing and completion of applications. Maintaining complete and compliant client files in accordance with company policies. Handling administrative queries and updating managers on relevant matters or potential sales opportunities. Providing comprehensive administrative support for new and existing client reviews. Managing and updating the CRM system, ensuring the business pipeline is current and accurate. Identifying issues or challenges and proposing solutions. Meeting compliance standards, adhering to regulatory and operational procedures. Supporting the growth of the business by embracing development opportunities and contributing to team success. Skills & Competencies Required: Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational skills. Excellent communication skills and a confident, professional telephone manner. Essential Qualifications & Experience: Third-level qualification or relevant experience in the financial services industry. Technical knowledge of mortgages. QFA/APA qualification (or willingness to obtain within 18 months). Understanding of Anti-Money Laundering requirements and compliance procedures. Desirable Attributes: Previous experience in financial services or a mortgage brokerage. Knowledge of corporate or personal financial planning.
