We are working with one of Ireland's leading mechanical and electrical engineering companies.
The Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing the day-to-day mechanical construction management on a prominent client site in the Leinster area. This includes planning, developing, and organizing the mechanical construction to formulate the most cost-effective plan to timely completion within budget, as well as implementing the execution of the scope of work in accordance with the approved project schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and oversee the day-to-day mechanical construction management
* Plan, develop, and organize the mechanical construction
* Formulate the most cost-effective plan to timely completion within budget
* Implement the execution of the scope of work in accordance with the approved project schedule
* Monitor and report to the Project Manager of project details, including progress, risks, and opportunities in a timely manner
* Adhere to Safety, EHS, and Quality Standards in line with relevant policies and procedures
* Manage Site Design and Mechanical Construction processes
* Plan all resources, including labour, materials, and sub-contractors
Ideal Candidate:
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have:
* A good knowledge of design and mechanical construction processes
* Proven ability to manage people and programs
* A trade background or third-level qualification
* Background in Pharmaceutical / Medical Devices or Mechanical installation systems
* Proficient in reviewing Clean systems drawings / P&i D's / Scope
* Proven record of coordinating and managing large projects in a similar role
* A minimum of 5+ years as a Mechanical Construction Manager
* Computer literacy and familiarity with MS Office, Project (or similar scheduling package)
* Excellent references
* Semi-conductor experience is an advantage
