Role Overview:
As an IT Device Engineer at KX, you will play a vital role in ensuring the reliability and security of our IT device infrastructure. You will be responsible for deploying, configuring, and maintaining a variety of IT devices, including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and a keen eye for detail.
Responsibilities:
· Deploy, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and other IT devices across the organization.
· Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems, software applications, and device drivers.
· Manage device imaging and provisioning processes, ensuring consistency and compliance with company standards and security policies.
· Provide technical support to end-users, diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues.
· Monitor device performance, conduct system audits, and implement security best practices.
· Manage device inventory, including tracking assets and coordinating hardware refresh cycles.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement improvements to device management processes.
· Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our device infrastructure.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.
· years of experience in IT device management or related roles.
· Proficiency in operating systems such as Windows, macOS, and iOS.
· Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.
