With the power of many curious minds, together we can solve the world’s most complex challenges and deliver more impact together.Role description:To lead cost and commercial management and contract administration services across complex Data Centre and Energy Centre developments and other asset classes as required.To provide leadership and accountability for the execution of all work in line with business goals, and demonstrate and promote significant technical knowledge and experience in their field.Role accountabilities:Leading, motivating and managing a team of technical specialists, setting objectives, reviewing performance and developing skills to ensure the provision of an efficient cost and commercial management services in accordance with approved scope of service.Managing the financial performance of cost and commercial management services across their lifecycle, taking responsibility for costs, schedules and efficiency to meet budgetary targets and best value outcomes.Leading and managing the commercial aspects of projects across the organisation, supporting project management teams to deliver work within budget and to required contract specifications.Monitoring and reviewing team performance and behaviour, including educating and positively influencing team members, and taking action to ensure organisational policies and codes of conduct are followed.Assuring project delivery is compliant with the relevant contract terms and scope of service.Analysing and reviewing complex information from a range of sources and overseeing recommendations by other specialists, to improve the long-term performance of the cost management service.Continuously developing, implementing and leading cost and commercial management systems with the aim of driving innovation and enhancing project delivery.Managing the overall business relationship with key clients and stakeholder groups to identify opportunities to improve the delivery of cost management services and improve the client experience.Acting as a lead technical expert and providing strategic advice to other senior managers on cost and commercial management matters, in support of the successful delivery of project objectives and strategies.Building strong working relationships with senior client and stakeholder representatives to successfully deliver a positive client experience and extend cost management services and secure new business opportunities.Leading project benchmarking exercises and capturing lessons learned as well as developing case studies and bid collateral for use on future opportunities.Qualifications & Experience:Possess the skills and experience to actively support the internal team and manage resources on technically complex projects/programme of works typically ranging between €50m and €500m.Relevant professional experience, including delivering large and complex projects across an entire project life cycle.Proven ability to manage, motivate and lead large teams, with demonstrable leadership ability.Experience of building and utilising client relationships at executive level, and the ability to act as a trusted advisor.Preferable MEPH experience.Preferable FIDIC experience.Relevant Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.Relevant professional qualification or chartered status (MRICS / MSCSI / MCIArb).Safepass card holder.Why Arcadis?We can only achieve our goals when everyone is empowered to be their best.
