Site Engineer - Construction Industry
Job Description:
As a Site Engineer in the construction industry, you will be a vital part of on-site operations, ensuring the successful implementation of engineering plans and maintaining quality standards throughout the construction process.
Responsibilities:
1. Execute engineering plans on the construction site, overseeing the practical aspects of the project.
2. Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and project alignment.
3. Conduct regular site inspections and assessments to monitor progress and adherence to project specifications.
4. Provide technical support and guidance to on-site teams, addressing and resolving engineering issues promptly.
5. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations on the construction site.
6. Collaborate with surveyors and contribute to the accurate measurement and setting out of the construction site.
Qualifications and Experience:
7. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
8. Previous experience as a Site Engineer or in a similar on-site role within the construction industry.
9. Proficient in interpreting engineering plans and drawings.
10. Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations in construction.
11. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative on-site environment.
12. Familiarity with surveying techniques and tools.
