Position Summary:
The DC Manufacturing Technician follows instructions and blueprints to assemble Custom Single Run (CSR) Disposable Containers (DC) for use in the biopharmaceutical industry. The technician will execute the required operational steps in manufacturing DCs and have the chance to work in a fast-paced environment on industry-leading equipment.
Responsibilities:
1. Ability to carry out procedures in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Guidelines (GDLs).
2. Ensure DC is a right-first-time product, understanding quality acceptance criteria and highlighting any non-conformance.
3. Compile all associated build documentation to an acceptable standard in line with ABEC criteria.
4. Adhere to all standards and procedures for working in a classified clean environment.
5. Knowledge of hand tools, fabricating equipment, and measuring devices.
6. Pallet truck handling.
7. Conduct operations in a safe manner, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
8. Execute other tasks as assigned.
9. Ability to travel when required.
10. Actively identify and drive Continuous Improvement (CI) opportunities.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum 1-2 years previous experience in a classified clean environment or similar.
2. Experience in producing documentation subject to quality and customer audit.
3. Excellent problem-solving skills.
4. Ability to read a tape measure and perform simple mathematical equations.
5. Aptitude for blueprint reading.
6. Proficient with hand tools and basic fabrication tools.
7. Self-motivated.
8. Capable of maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
9. Prior Lean/Six Sigma experience is a plus.
