As Health and Safety Manager, you will oversee, evaluate, and assess policies and procedures to ensure compliance with current legislative requirements and the maintenance of safe work role will report directly to Site Director. This is a full time position, and it's with a leading pharma organization in Tipperary. Overview of Main Responsibilities (full job description available on request): Provide relevant EHS Training as required. Propose and carry out safety and environmental risk assessments and determine acceptable risk levels. Recommend and implement emergency policies and ensure specific control systems meet required standards. Ensure accidents and incidents are investigated as per policy, and ensure agreed corrective actions are implemented. Provide statistics to management and health and safety committee. Implement and ensure compliance with policies and current safety and environmental legislative requirements. Advise on potential health risks at work, health of employees, health promotion. Carry out external and internal environmental audits to ensure the company meets the required standards. Maintaining and promoting environmental standards throughout the organisation. What the ideal EHS Manager looks like: Third Level Qualification in Health and Safety 5yrs of experience in a pharmaceutical industry Experience within Pharmaceutical manufacturing is desired.
