We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join our team at a 5-star hotel in Cork.
The Role
The Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing all sales operations for the hotel, with a focus on achieving pre-determined targets and increasing market share.
Key responsibilities include:
* Planning and executing sales product development programs
* Identifying new markets and staying up-to-date with emerging trends
* Collaborating with regional sales teams
Job Specification
Key tasks include:
* Developing relationships within the community to strengthen and expand the customer base
* Initializing and implementing annual sales plans in conjunction with the Director of Sales
* Examining trends and outcomes from these implementations
* Working with the Sales Director to establish clear business plans for Key Account development and sales strategy
* Introducing new business through client contacts and sales initiatives
Key Responsibilities
The Sales Manager will be responsible for:
* Builtng and strengthening relationships with existing and new customers
* Identifying new business sectors and opportunities
* Planning time effectively to meet call mix targets
Candidate Requirements
To be considered for this role, applicants must have:
* A proven track record in Sales Management in a prominent 4/5-star hotel
* Strong organisational, strategic planning, negotiation and presentation skills
* Great communication skills and ability to clearly communicate with suppliers, management and staff
* A thorough understanding of the importance of customer experience and uncompromising standards of excellence
