Team Horizon is seeking an Engineering Project Specialist for a leading pharmaceutical company in Mayo. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely coordinating and leading projects associated with Facility, Utility, and Equipment Projects. Key areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to, on-time and budget delivery of Site Capital projects to be carried out in compliance with EHS and cGMP requirements. Projects include building infrastructure such as Grade A, B, C, and D Cleanrooms and associated HVAC and Utilities, including Purified Water Systems, Compressed Air, and Chilled and Cooling Water systems.

What you will be doing:
* Complete established goals, prioritizing project work, controlling, and coordinating key activities and improvement efforts across the Utilities Services.
* Drive and lead projects to meet Safety, Environmental, GMP, Production, and Financial Objectives.
* Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards when completing projects.
* Ensure effective cross-functional relationships with Operations Stakeholders and above-site Stakeholders (i.e., Meridian Drawing System).
* Review Process Flow Diagrams (PFD), Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID), Equipment and Instrument Specifications, Instrument Lists (IL), Layout & Routing Diagrams, Installation Plans, and requirements.
* Compliance wire admin for the tech services group.
* Extension of training records and optimization of required training.
* Setting up new hires with required training.
* Running reports on upcoming training and overdue training.
* Opening DCC’s for Engineering SOP updates.
* Providing additional admin training for the role.
* Providing additional training for Administration roles.
* Controlled drawings support, including:
* Resolving IT issues with the controlled drawings.
* Updating AutoCAD licenses.
* Assisting employees in gaining access to the controlled drawings.
* Supporting audits, including generating PDFs and printed copies.
* Ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
What you need to apply:
* Third-level qualification in Engineering or equivalent discipline/experience.
* Minimum 3 years of experience working in Biologics, Pharmaceuticals, Medical devices, or a similar industry.
* Project management experience with a proven record.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills required to operate in a multi-functional project team setup.
* Ability to work within a team using your own initiative to articulate and deliver specific requirements for all aspects of Shutdown and work with members of various disciplines and functions.
* Ability to work closely with other areas/departments within an organization.
* Experience of H&S, HSA, and QA requirements.
