We are hiring a Staff Grade Medical Physicist in a Private Hospital in Dublin, Ireland. Full-time/Permanent
Key Responsibilities
1. Demonstrate sufficient clinical knowledge and evidence-based practice to carry out the duties and responsibilities of the post.
2. The main duty is to support cancer patients with high-quality diagnostic and radiation therapy using medical physics.
3. Help the radiotherapy department implement new processes that meet the demands of the hospital and its patients while adhering to the strategic plan, mission, vision, and values.
4. Assist the Chief Physicist in creating and upholding best practices for the Medical Physics Department's administration.
Requirements
* A recognized first- or second-class honors degree when the major was physics and honors were earned in that field;
* Own a recognized degree that is at least comparable to it.
* Have the skills and knowledge necessary to carry out the responsibilities of the position, including a high degree of appropriateness.
* Work eligibility in Ireland
* Completion of an official medical physics training program.
* Having earned a postgraduate degree in an engineering or scientific field.
* Experience working in radiotherapy or medical imaging.
* Familiarity with interdisciplinary work settings.
