As a Business Development Manager you will play a key role in the development of our company, by proposing the integration of the systems and software that we market.
In close collaboration with the Sales Department, you are responsible for prospecting actions and guarantee a qualified identification of business opportunities.
Our client is a technology company specializing in warehouse optimization to offer a competitive advantage to its customers. They offer automated robotic solutions, software and consulting services.
Responsibilities:
1. Analyze business opportunities through sectoral market studies validated with the Sales Department.
2. Target new customers to identify new markets for the products and/or services offered in order to expand and diversify the existing customer base.
3. Build a database by identified sectors, use it effectively and regularly follow up with the people contacted.
4. Implement and execute the prospecting strategy defined by the Sales Department.
5. Pre-qualify prospects in an advanced manner.
6. Create budgetary offers and submit them to prospects, to verify the relevance of the file.
7. Organize discussions and make convincing initial presentations to potential customers to enable Sales Managers to convert leads into successful transactions.
8. Share key market information to best develop the sales strategy.
Desired skills and experience:
1. Professional experience in intralogistics desired, but not mandatory.
2. Skills for technological solutions in automation, robots and mechanization.
3. Experience in sales prospecting and in transforming inbound calls into qualified leads.
4. Desired experience in the consulting sector or in similar customer-oriented solutions.
5. Fluent use of MS Office suite.
6. Professional skills in English, both oral and written.
