Major Infrastructure Project Manager Role:
To lead, manage, and deliver healthcare estate services including administrative, professional, technical, and project management services in accordance with the responsibilities and duties of the post.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage major capital infrastructure projects.
* Oversee project teams ensuring timely delivery budget management quality control and effective communication with stakeholders.
* Manage project planning procurement design construction and compliance with HSE policies and regulatory standards.
* Support the development of the campus master plan and ensure projects meet health safety and environmental standards.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety infection control fire safety and other regulatory requirements.
* Manage risks and ensure effective hygiene and quality control systems are implemented.
* Monitor and report progress of projects.
* Ensure adherence to sustainability and energy efficiency initiatives.
* Support performance management and KPI achievement.
Qualifications & Experience Requirements
* Level 8 (or higher) qualification in Architecture Engineering or Surveying or full Chartered Membership of relevant professional bodies e.g. Engineers Ireland Royal Institute of Architects of Ireland.
* Minimum 8 years experience in project management construction and maintenance of healthcare buildings.
* Strong leadership problem-solving and communication skills with expertise in managing large-scale projects and teams.
Skills & Competencies
* Extensive experience in capital project management building regulations procurement and EU guidelines.
* Proven leadership and team management abilities.
* Strong interpersonal skills to manage stakeholder relationships and lead multi-disciplinary teams.
* Proficiency in project management software Microsoft Office and financial systems.
* Ability to manage multiple large-scale projects and staff.
* Ability to foster relationships with key stakeholders and maintain effective communication.
