In this way, Young Social Innovators builds social capital and helps young people create a fairer and more caring Ireland connecting into a wider global movement for change.__________________________________________________________________________Purpose of RoleIgnite Community Research Lead (ICRL) will work closely with the Head of Education to plan and establish of a dedicated research component for the IC programme.
They will be responsible for establishing baseline data for the 12 counties covered by the project area as well developing KPIs to track and evaluate programme outcomes.
The ICRL will create an evidence base for IC and communicate findings to key stakeholders with the aim of influencing decision makers.
The role requires a dynamic individual with strong research skills and a commitment to excellence.
They will have experience of working in the youth/education sector.__________________________________________________________________________________Duties of the RoleProgramme Responsibilities (include and not limited to): Lead on development of an impact analysis plan.
Creation of baseline data.
Development of Theory of Change (Logic Model).
Establishing research and impact KPIs for tracking and evaluation purposes.
Build up a strong evidence base for IC programme.
Collate, analyse, and present findings to a variety of audiences.
Disseminate findings to influence key decision makers and future government strategy in NI and BRI.Other DutiesAd hoc duties as required, in line with the purpose of the role.
Person SpecificationSignificant experience of working in impact assessment and/or evaluation and/or projectresearch - minimum 3 years' experience.
Proven experience in information analysis.
Experienced in the design and development of research proposals.
Strong communication skills, verbal and written, with fluency in English.
Excellent IT skills and experience of use of technology to support analysis and research projects.
Strong data management skills.
Strong commitment to realising a more sustainable, equitable, and resilient world.
Strong creative and entrepreneurial interests and skills.
Highly curious and creative.
