Our international client, manufacturer and distributor of greenhouses, coverings, carports, and pavilions, is seeking an active and creative Key Account Manager DACH to work closely with the Sales Director DACH to manage and further develop sales of their premium brand across retail, wholesale, and e-commerce channels.
Responsibilities :
* Support B2B customers to maintain and expand existing customer relationships.
* Acquiring new customers and expanding the customer base.
* Coordinating and executing promotional activities.
* Processing inquiries and orders in the sales department.
* Managing retail customers in the individual retail and DIY sectors.
* Providing professional customer service from initial contact to post-sale follow-up.
* Collaborating closely with colleagues from various departments to develop optimal customer solutions.
* Maintaining the database and handling general organizational tasks.
* Introducing and listing new products.
* Participating in trade shows and events.
* Advising and supporting assigned retail and e-commerce customers.
* Conducting product range analyses and making recommendations.
* Supporting, advising, and coordinating the implementation of special sales areas.
* Market Sensing : Analyzing and reporting on the market and the customer base, identifying challenges and opportunities, and independently deriving suitable measures.
Skills & Qualifications :
1. BA / BS degree in Business Administration, Sales or relevant field preferred
2. Proven success as Account Manager with consistent achievement of quotas.
3. Experience selling products in an Online and Offline Retail environment
4. Strong affinity for products in the leisure, hobby, home, and garden sectors.
5. Knowledge of sales and marketing principles and strategies.
6. Passionate about working on the phone with strong communication skills.
7. Decisiveness, assertiveness, and persuasiveness.
8. Strong customer orientation and entrepreneurial thinking.
9. Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence at all levels of an organization
10. Online savvy with a critical eye regarding online content
11. Detail oriented with experience delivering client-focused solutions to customers
12. Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
13. Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities
14. Composed, calm, independent, easy-going personality.
15. Solid experience with MS Office (particularly MS Excel) and SAP
16. Excellent German and English language skills.
