A successful National or International-based Small to Medium Enterprise (SME) with sites across the UK are seeking a new Group Finance Director due to an internal retirement.
The ideal candidate will work closely with the Managing Director on strategic plans for the business and lead the finance function while identifying new acquisition opportunities.
This is a permanent opportunity based in Coleraine, but some travel is required around the UK.
The Role: Build and lead a strategic finance plan, including leading forecasting, budgeting, costings, and cash flow management. Identify acquisition opportunities and implement improved controls. Oversee a small finance team, analyse and improve costings, and develop robust Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
The Person: A qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with experience leading a team and working with multiple systems/ERP's. Experience with Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) is desirable. Excellent communication skills are essential.
