The Risk & Quality Assurance Senior Manager is a senior leadership position within the Assurance Group, responsible for ensuring the effective management of risk and quality across various engagements.
The role sits within the Risk Management area, working closely with engagement teams to resolve enquiries, identify standards and guidance, design training programs, and develop internal policies and guidance.
Main Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with engagement teams on risk management matters, providing guidance and support as needed
* Assist in identifying appropriate standards and guidance for audit inspections and regulatory responses
* Develop and deliver training programs on risk management and quality matters for senior management groups
* Contribute to professional accountancy body committees' projects, sharing expertise and best practices
* Maintain up-to-date internal documentation and risk management policies
* Provide training and guidance on risk and quality matters to staff members
Requirements:
* Fully qualified ACA, ACCA, CIA, or equivalent accounting qualification
* Big 4 or global accountancy firm experience, preferably in external audit
* Desire to transition into an advisory role, leveraging skills and knowledge gained in audit risk and audit quality
