Job Description:
Our Supported Housing Service provides assistance to young people aged 16-25 who are homeless, at risk of homelessness, or require help maintaining their tenancy.
The Team Leader will work closely with the Manager to lead and manage a Support Staff Team and maintain/develop the Supported Housing Service.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and supervise a team of Support Workers
* Ensure high-quality housing support for young people
* Oversee safeguarding policies to protect young people and staff
* Manage rotas, team meetings, and service planning
* Support young people with housing rights and benefits
* Maintain compliance with governance, finance, and reporting requirements
* Promote young people's participation in service development
Essential Criteria:
* 3 years' experience in supported housing or a similar environment OR a relevant degree (Social Work, Youth & Community Work) + 2 years' experience
* Proven ability to manage and develop a team
* Understanding of young people leaving care and high support needs
* Full UK driving licence with access to a car for work
Desirable Criteria:
* Experience in a leadership role within an organisation
