SENIOR APPLICATIONS SUPPORT
This role is responsible for providing high-quality application and user support to ensure the availability, reliability, and performance of IT systems globally, which in turn supports business processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform proactive application health checks to prevent potential failures.
* Manage incidents through to completion, engaging various IT teams to resolve issues efficiently and effectively.
* Perform effective problem management on recurring incidents, leading and managing problems throughout their lifecycle.
* Ensure timely release of problem resolutions in production with high quality.
* Enforce adherence to the change management process for all changes to the production environment.
* Proactively review the IT environment to ensure compliance with new regulations.
* Perform scheduled activities such as DR testing, user attestations, remediation of control audit, etc.
* Update knowledge base articles in a timely manner and conduct training across regions.
* Develop and maintain relationships with clients, relationship managers, and project managers.
Requirements:
* Degree in engineering or computer science preferred or relevant industry experience.
* At least 5 years of prior experience as an IT Support Analyst.
* Strong Unix/Linux experience.
* Solid infrastructure understanding.
* Experience in writing SQL (data retrieval/update/inserts) on DB2 / Oracle / MS SQL Server.
* Strong understanding of ITIL Incident Management, Problem Management, and Change Management.
* Experience in banking operations technologies such as payments, reconciliation.
* Experience in supporting critical, time-sensitive, and complex applications.
* Experience in a lead role desirable.
* Experience in scripting, automation, and process improvement.
