HR People Partner Part of Grafton Group Plc, Chadwicks Group is the market leader in the builder's merchanting industry in the Republic of Ireland.
The core business is through the traditional Builders Merchants division. Main brands include Chadwicks, Cork Builders Providers, Davies & Telfords.
In addition, and through organic growth and acquisitions, the Group has established a range of brands which are close to the core but offer a uniquely different range of products.
These include Heitons Steel, Panelling Centre, Morgans Timber, Proline, Sitetech & Rooney's Hardware.
Principle Objective Reporting to the HR Manager, you will support all day-to-day HR activities and current HR projects.
In this permanent position, you'll have a fantastic opportunity to shape the HR and People agenda for Chadwick's Group while gaining multi-site HR experience in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge & Experience At least 2 years HR/ER experience in an advisor/business partner role.
Third level qualification in Business or HR.Solid understanding of main employee relations legislation and disciplinary procedures.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Strong ability to build trustworthy relationships across the brand.
Strategic and ambitious mindset.
Ability to multi-task.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities Advise, coach, and support branches through ER/IR processes.
Manage certain aspects of HR administration, employee files, and daily queries.
Communicate and respond to colleague queries in a friendly and timely manner.
Manage and report absenteeism records.
Update Company policies and procedures when required.
Responsible for employee letters and ad hoc administrative duties.
Provide HR advice and support to Managers.
Assist with Projects as and when required.
