Job Description
This role supports manufacturing operations in areas such as process development, tool design, machine programming, and equipment acquisition. The individual will provide technical support to identify continuous improvements and implement new technologies.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop processes and research current and emerging technologies.
* Evaluate process quality, cost, capacity, and capability alternatives.
* Support manufacturing areas in terms of quality standards, documentation, capacity, product availability, and cost.
* Provide technical support regarding equipment design and development.
* Perform assignments designed to continue the development of professional work knowledge and abilities.
Position Duties & Responsibilities
* Lead engineering projects that are less complex, either technically or with a small cross-functional team.
* Investigate process problems, develop plans, and execute tasks to solve issues.
* Provide day-to-day support and direction to production personnel.
* Write and execute engineering studies and process validation protocols.
* Identify and implement process improvements for existing manufacturing processes.
Education & Experience
* 2-4 years of experience in manufacturing and/or engineering is required.
* Previous experience working in a regulated industry is preferred.
Requirements
* Bachelor of Science Degree from an accredited institution in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related degree.
* Demonstrates strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
* Demonstrates strong computer skills and organizational and project management skills.
Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year.
