Responsibilities:
4. Enhance Sales and Competitive Position: Cultivate relationships with merchant sales, building contractors, builders, sub-contractors, and wholesalers to elevate sales, profits, and market standing.
5. Business Expansion: Proactively identify and pursue new ventures, respond to customer inquiries, and seize market prospects.
6. Client Relationship Management: Support existing clientele by securing orders, forging new connections, and scheduling client visits systematically.
7. On-site Engagements: Regularly visit construction sites and merchant establishments to strengthen industry ties.
8. Order Administration: Effectively oversee orders based on specifications, referencing price lists and product literature.
9. Performance Targets and Metrics: Strive towards specific sales goals and key performance indicators to ensure both individual and team accomplishments.
10. Market Insights: Keep abreast of competition by gathering up-to-date market data on pricing, products, and emerging trends.
11. Continuous Professional Growth: Stay current with industry dynamics and product knowledge through publications, networks, professional associations, and pertinent training.

Requirements:
13. Minimum of 3 years of pertinent sales experience, ideally within the construction or engineering sectors.
14. Proficiency in acquiring product knowledge.
15. Outstanding communication abilities, capable of engaging and educating clients while effectively promoting product upgrades.
16. Valid driver’s license essential for regular travel within the Munster and Connaught regions.
