Customer Service Specialist
We are seeking a skilled Customer Service Specialist with 2+ years of experience in customer service and order management to join our team in Galway city. This is a long-term contract opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
* Answer telephone calls and emails from both internal and external customers in a prompt and efficient manner, adhering to key Service Level Agreements.
* Track and monitor all customer contacts to understand trends in demand.
* Log and maintain customers' queries and contacts on our system.
* Stay up-to-date on products, inventory, promotions, and other necessary information to provide exceptional customer service.
* Communicate proactively with internal and external customers on any queries or requests.
* Provide information or escalation routes to customers in a professional, positive, and courteous manner.
* Maintain awareness of changes to any escalation methods or contacts worldwide to effectively support customers.
* Educate customers on product details and resolve order-related queries.
* Inform Team Lead of all changes, issues, and potential concerns related to customer accounts.
* Collaborate with various internal departments to ensure customer requirements are met.
* Adhere to CS Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) in line with our Quality Management System and deliver an excellent customer experience.
Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years of experience working in a call-centre or Customer Service function.
* Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
* Experience in SAP or similar ERP systems is advantageous.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
* Fluency in a second European language is a distinct advantage.
