We are currently on the lookout for Summer Supervisors to join our amazing team in Dublin to support as we welcome thousands of locals and tourists alike, all with one mission - to experience the phenomenal City of Cork over Summer.
* Melbourn Point, Cork
* 30 hours per week / Tuesday - Saturday
* Start date: 26th May 2025
* End date: 28th August 2025
* €14.50 per hour
Responsibilities
Sound like something you'd be interested in? Here's what you'll do:
* Manage the front of house team ensuring students and guests are checked in and welcomed.
* Manage a team of housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are in tip-top shape at all times.
* Resolve guest escalations in a timely and professional manner.
* Check bookings and deal with payments.
* Respond to guest requests in person, over the phone, over email or via our review sites in a professional and empathetic way.
* Keep up to date with the administration including reporting and checking accounts.
* Manage linen stock, deliveries and pick-ups and keep accurate records.
* Manage summer stock including ordering and cost management.
* Set up and clear our spaces throughout the season.
* Assist with housekeeping as required (it can get super busy!).
* Report any maintenance requests to our amazing maintenance team accurately and quickly, ensuring that issues are resolved just as quickly.
* Manage room keys.
Qualifications
Sound like a good fit for you? Here's what you'll need:
* Previous people management experience would be a huge advantage.
* Project management skills would be great.
* Great customer service skills - you'll be a true people person who loves interaction with people from all kinds of backgrounds.
* Strong communication skills - you'll be speaking to guests from all over the world.
* The ability to work well in a busy environment.
* Organizational skills - there will be a lot of reporting and administration, so attention to detail is key.
* Confidence with office computer systems (gold star if you've ever worked with a booking system).
* Flexibility - this role will cover working hours from 8am - 11pm Monday - Sunday.
