Fermented Drinks Production Assistant - King of Kefir
Ardee, County Louth, Ireland
Are you ready to dive into the heart of a fast-growing, game-changing disruptive Irish brand? At King of Kefir, we’re not just brewing drinks—we’re redefining refreshment with natural carbonation, and a passion for sustainability. Founded in 2014, we’ve gone from a small-batch vision to one of Europe’s pioneering water kefir breweries, and we’re just getting started. As our Production Assistant, you’ll grow with us, hands-on in a creative, cutting-edge environment. Join a team that’s buzzing with potential and opportunity and let’s build the future of drinks together!
Key Responsibilities:
1. Batch production: Assist in the batch production of the various flavours. Our process involves macerating the various organic herbs and spices to create our own in-house flavours.
2. Assisting in the cleaning, sanitation, and maintenance of brewhouse equipment tanks, filling equipment, hoses, etc.
3. Quality Assurance: Monitor kefir quality at various stages of production, ensuring each batch meets our high standards.
4. Inventory Management: Manage stock levels of ingredients, ensuring timely replenishment to avoid production delays.
5. Packaging and Labelling: Participate in the packaging process, ensuring all products are correctly labelled and prepared for distribution.
6. Safety Compliance: Adhere to HACCP and in-house health and safety regulations, including proper handling of ingredients.
7. Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organised production area, adhering to food safety standards.
8. Administrative Duties: Support the production team with administrative tasks such as scheduling, monitoring and reporting.
Training will be provided to the suitable candidate in HACCP and food quality systems.
Requirements:
1. Must be able to occasionally lift 35kg (as one of the ingredients comes in drums of this weight).
2. Someone methodical, with a sharp eye for detail in following our fermentation and bottling processes, and a strong commitment to maintaining top-notch hygiene standards. If you’re passionate about quality and order in a disruptive, fast-growing brand, this is your chance to shine!
