The Role
This is a permanent position within our growing Managed Services team, governed by the ITIL Framework and ISO 20000 standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Monitor policies and alerts for various systems and services, including Hypervisors, Cisco routers, switches, Palo Alto Firewall, Windows Servers, and HP/Dell Server and Storage solutions.
* Perform first-level event correlation and filtering to ensure critical events require support personnel intervention.
* Investigate and diagnose infrastructure and application alerts, establishing request/incident details, confirming impact, and identifying contributing factors.
* Apply resolutions, test, and verify; escalate and coordinate tickets to other ICT teams or 3rd parties as needed within defined SLAs.
* Maintain and improve documentation.
* Manage performance monitoring systems to monitor availability and reliability.
* Provide Level 1/2 support and troubleshooting to resolve technical issues.
* Work within change management policies to ensure successful changes.
* Lead vendors and other IT teams to problem resolution.
* Perform proactive maintenance and support of customer systems.
* Collaborate with NZ/Irish colleagues on improving network services delivered to the Evros customer base.
Requirements
* Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
* Familiarity with virtualization technologies (Azure, Hyper-V, VMware).
* Experience supporting and configuring a range of network devices and technologies (routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS, etc.).
* Excellent communications skills, written and verbal.
* Team player with strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
* ITIL V4 foundation level and ISO 20000 familiarization.
