The client –
Our client is a friendly, medium-sized accountancy firm based in Dublin North. They have a varied client base and service a variety of SMEs and large companies.
Due to business growth, a new position has been created for a Payroll Specialist to join the team on a full-time basis.
Hours: 8:30am – 5pm. Hybrid working model after probationary period.
About the role –
Key Responsibilities:
* Processing weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls for clients with 1 to 300 employees.
* Dealing with multiple payments and deductions including basic salary, overtime pay, holidays, sick leave, BIK, pension, employee health insurance, and bike to work.
* Preparing workings and providing calculations as necessary.
* Handling complex payrolls and client queries.
* Building and maintaining client relationships and taking ownership of multiple payroll entities.
About you –
Requirements:
* At least 3 years payroll experience - managing a larger payroll using Micropay would be beneficial.
* Advanced Excel skills and knowledge of .csv file imports.
* Excellent problem-solving/judgement ability and high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
* A team player with excellent communication and organisational skills.
