Overview
We're National Broadband Ireland and we're delivering the largest telecommunications project that Ireland has ever seen. We're designing, building and operating Ireland's new, high-speed wholesale broadband network under the National Broadband Plan. Our aim is to radically transform the country's broadband landscape through the delivery of quality, affordable high-speed broadband to all parts of Ireland where such services are not available commercially.
The NBI™ network using a combination of State subsidy and commercial investment will deliver high-speed broadband to over 1.1 million people and over 554,000 premises in Ireland. No matter how remote or rural, no town, village or community will be left behind. NBI will be responsible for the management of the new national broadband network for the next 25 years.

Key Objectives / Accountabilities:
As Connections Governance manager you will be responsible for adherence to the Governments contract from an Operations perspective. You will also be responsible for managing and overseeing the connections and assurance contracts with 3rd party suppliers.
1. Key deliverablesDefine, promote and enforce strong governance of contractsDeliver accurate and timely wholesale Customer Operations Reports to senior stakeholders including monthly operational reports and presentations to DECC and Industry Forums.Deliver remedial plans for missed contractual KPIs.Manage the day-to-day interface and relationship between NBI and DECC from an Operations perspectiveSupport the Customer Operations Manager in maintaining and updating project related documents.Manage the Connections and Assurance suppliers and their associated contracts. Build strong relationships with key suppliers and manage through governance forumsResponsible for resolving operational contractual disputes
2. Key Responsibilities:Ensure contractual milestones and requirements are monitored, measured, and reportedWork with DECC to understand and manage emerging issues. Lead the resolution of such issuesWork with connections and assurance suppliers to understand and manage emerging issues. Lead the resolution of such issuesMonitor adherence of suppliers to in life contracts.Manage the Risk and Issue Register and propose mitigation plans. Advise the management team on developments related to Risk ManagementAssist in drafting new processesExcellent ambassador for NBI, promoting the organisation and role modelling NBI's values.
Knowledge & Experience:
3. Experienced contract delivery manager with at least 5 years' senior experience
4. At least 5 years' experience of delivering large scale projects and programmes with commercial or programme responsibilities.
5. Strong stakeholder management skills.
6. Experience in the design and implementation of operating processes to support contract reporting, performance monitoring and communications frameworks.
7. Excellent ambassador for NBI, promoting the organisation and role modelling NBI's values.
