Key Purpose of the Job
As our HR Business Partner Reporting to the HR Manager, you will hold a strategic role in the business that will have you as first point of contact for your assigned sites, developing a strong working partnership. You will be working closely and liaising with management and employees "on the front line," providing hands-on and strategic input, insight, and advice on people-related issues: employee relations, coaching/development, conflict management and talent management.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
1. Partnering and consulting with line managers to provide daily HR guidance. Ensuring end-to-end HR service delivery by maintaining partnerships across all functions.
2. Continually updating managers with employment laws and company policies.
3. Provide guidance on employee and industrial relations activities as needed, including preparation and presentation of cases at Workplace Relations Commission
4. Act as the first point of contact to manage all employee relations issues that arise. Provide guidance and support to management in regard to all employee relations issues ensuring compliance within legislative and regulatory environments.
5. Manage and conduct disciplinary cases, capability and grievances where appropriate.
6. Responsible for ensuring COEs are issued in a timely manner.
7. Preparing and compiling HR reports and in turn analyse trends and metrics with management and the HR team.
8. Lead the Transfer of Undertakings process end to end.
Qualifications and Experience
9. Third Level Qualification in Human Resources Management
10. Minimum 3 years of experience in HR Advisory or similar role.
11. Industrial Relations experience advantageous.
12. Solid understanding of HR functional areas and practices. A strong business/customer service orientation also essential.
13. Membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).
Working Pattern : Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 17:30
