Building a sustainable tomorrow We are looking for BIM Coordinator to join our team based in Limerick.
Your mission Working knowledge of ISO 19650 1 & 2 (Level 2 BIM) or BS1192 and associated PAS/BS 1192 codes required.
Act as a subject matter expert for the digital construction tools/applications, and provide technical support to personnel as and when required.
Advise on required resources to support divisional/business unit and/or project needs.
Capture best practices, workflows, lessons learned and communicate it within the organisation and to the team members.
Coordinate with different disciplines and members for yearly ISO audits.
Effectively communicate with all stakeholders and work closely with the senior project management team to ensure a value-added approach to digital is realized.
Follow the BAM DC protocols for usage and application of any new DCtools/applications.
Maintain high safety and environmental standards in accordance with company policies and report any inadequacies.
Ensure that the building information data quality (graphical and non-graphical) and the level of information detail are accurate and the right information is delivered to the client/appointing party.
Generate information model and review the information model that the task team produces.
Lead and manage the process of submitting the BIM for the authorization of the lead appointed party (lead contractor) and appointing party (client) where applicable.
Manage and review the work produced by the digital production team/members (Specialists and Modellers).
Oversee the establishment of project work flows so that they are planned, defined, and well communicated.
Oversee the information workflow in the project's CDE and alert the team when there are inconsistencies in the process.
Contribute to the development of the Master Information Delivery Plan (MIDP) and Task Information Delivery Plan (TIDP).
Undertake BIM QA/QC checks on job site as and when necessary.
Update the BIM execution plan (pre and post contract BEP) and track risk register during the project life cycle.
Who are we looking for?
Knowledge/Ability - Model authoring and management applications related to 3D Models, 4D Planning, and 5D Forecasting.
Expertise in the following areas: Model management and coordinating (clash coordination) applications, project delivery/handover formats(e.g.
COBie/COINS etc.
), field Data Capture, QA/QC, BIM Execution Plan (BEP), Common Data Environment (CDE).
3-5 years' experience working in digital construction domain with a minimum of 2years' experience in BIM coordination.
Higher Education in Construction or related fields.
Good management and communication skills (written and verbal).
