Job Description
We are seeking a seasoned F&B Operations Manager to join our team at a busy Hotel Chain in Cork.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and evaluating the long-term and short-term goals of all Food & Beverage outlets, under the guidance of the General Manager. Key objectives include maximizing revenue, profitability, and quality goals through strategic marketing and up-selling initiatives, while controlling costs and providing exceptional guest service and products.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement a comprehensive business plan to ensure optimal guest satisfaction, sales growth, and profitability.
* Conduct regular inspections of food & beverage areas to maintain high standards and recommend preventive maintenance as needed.
* Collaborate with the Head Chef, Director of Sales & Marketing, and Food and Beverage Operations Manager to plan and coordinate in-house activities and package plans.
* Implement strategies to enhance guest service, food production techniques, and operational efficiency.
* Assist in preparing the food and beverage business plan.
* Maintain the highest levels of guest satisfaction by delivering quality services and products within corporate standards.
* Recruit, select, and train Supervisors and team members for the department.
* Promote effective internal communications through regular meetings with Supervisors and team members to foster optimum teamwork and productivity.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:
* 1-2 years of experience in the Food & Beverage sector.
* 1-2 years of hotel management experience.
* A flexible schedule, with a minimum of 5 days per week.
