Responsibilities

1. Design, develop and implement suitable strategies for new site business recruitment.
2. Ensure that the market intelligence gathering process is robust and comprehensive, embracing all elements including competitor analysis, demographic trends, market trends, etc.
3. Carry out business analysis to identify areas of potential growth in sales, margin and profit in target stores.
4. Develop business case sign offs for the DAYBREAK Business Development forum.
5. Support elements of the store opening program post project sign off.

6. A relevant third level qualification e.g., Business/Marketing/Finance degree.
7. 3+ years’ experience of working in a senior food retail management position coupled with a knowledge of the franchise retail model and understanding of the independent retail sector.
8. Ability to understand commercial operating models and business performance drivers and metrics.
9. Negotiation and business relationship building skills.
