About The Role
This role will report to the Analytics Manager, Customer Success, and will enable Remitly's regulatory compliance and reporting. You will partner with compliance officers, program managers, analysts, and operational teams across the globe. You will become an expert in how Remitly serves our compliance obligations throughout the organisation and customer lifecycle. You will use this expertise, your analytical talents, and partnerships to build a global compliance reporting platform and scale our compliance operations.
This will be a hybrid role based in our Cork office.
You Will
1. Build a global regulatory reporting program, enabling our compliance function to scale through data.
2. Support high visibility and sometimes time-sensitive responses to regulator requests.
3. Become an expert in the relevant data produced across multiple teams and customer experiences to enable accurate and timely reporting to support critical compliance functions.
4. Use analytics to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of our compliance operations.
5. Collaborate with colleagues across multiple roles, teams, and geographies.
You Have
1. Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Operations Research, Engineering, Economics, or related fields.
2. An obsession with data quality.
3. Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in an analytics role.
4. Experience modelling complicated scenarios with data then estimating their relative size and impact.
5. Experience in SQL, statistical modeling platforms (Python, R), data modeling.
6. Experience working in a highly regulated organisation is preferred.
