The Field Care Supervisor will have overall responsibility for the Care Worker Team in the area. In this capacity you will mentor, coach and supervise a team of care workers. You will ensure that each member of the Care Team is carrying out their duties in a caring and compassionate manner and that all goals in each care plan are being achieved. This will include the following on a day-to-day basis: Work closely with the area Care Manager to implement the policies and procedures of Nua and ensure that the high standards of the company are met at all times. Reliability and a flexible approach essential for position. Ability to conduct oneself in a professional manner throughout the course of one's duties, showing respect for Service Users and colleagues. Adherence to Nua Supported Living confidentiality policies at all times. Deputising for Care Manager when requested Be involved at Care Managers request to do INA's Complete Supervision with staff Complete regular spot checks Implement reporting mechanisms particularly Incident/Accident reports. Follow up on new cases implemented after a one month period. Liaise directly with families for case set up. Ability to conduct oneself in a professional manner throughout the course of one's duties, showing respect for Service Users and colleagues. Adherence to Nua Supported Living confidentiality policies at all times. Deputising for Care Manager when requested. Be involved at Care Managers request to do INA's Complete Supervision with staff. Complete regular spot checks. Skills Requirement Qualification: Level 7/8 Degree or working towards degree in Social Studies. Knowledge: Knowledge of the legislation relative to the area. Experience: 3 years minimum managerial experience within a similar social care setting. Skills: Strong leadership skills. Strong problem-solving skills and judgement. Making critical decisions and recommendations. Capable of working within a fast-paced and flexible team. Good listener and open to learning from others. Excellent organisational skills / self-motivation /self-starter. Excellent verbal and written communication and IT skills. Dedicated, reliable and flexible approach to work. Full clean driver's licence.
