Aircraft Maintenance Engineer for Emerald Airlines
Location: Dublin, Ireland Base
We are excited to continue our partnership with Emerald Airlines, the exclusive operator of the Aer Lingus Regional service. We are seeking applications for the position of Aircraft Engineer based at Head Office, Hangar 5, Dublin Airport. This is a full-time, permanent role. You may be required to work at various locations to support the operation as the need arises and should be flexible to travel at short notice.
Nobox will play a key role in recruiting experienced and talented Aircraft Maintenance Engineers to join Emerald Airlines' growing team at their Dublin, Ireland base.
About the Role
Key responsibilities will include:
1. Ensure that all specified scheduled line maintenance as instructed by supervisors or the Airworthiness Control Engineer (ACE) work scope is completed.
2. Meet the Operators flights as requested and ensure work orders are dealt with in a timely manner.
3. Certify work, or exercise special authorisation privileges, only if holding a current PAC authorisation.
4. Ensure that all spares received to install on an aircraft are eligible, compliant, and match attached paperwork regarding Part Number, Serial Number, Service Life Limitations, Airworthiness Directives, storage life limitations, and any other Form 1 stated requirements.
5. Order spares for all open HILS using AMOS.
6. Maintain continuous liaison with the Shift Supervisor or ACE throughout the shift to minimize delays to operating schedule.
7. Complete in full all engineering documents and labels and inform the ACE of all arising defects, especially any that reoccur.
8. Review all relevant Notices.
9. Complete all maintenance in accordance with the approved maintenance material i.e. AMM/IPD/FIM/SRM/SB/SIL, etc.
10. Familiarize with the relevant manufacturer data.
11. Wear the required personal protective equipment for the task at hand.
12. Notify supervisor if the required safety equipment is unavailable or needs replacement.
13. Comply with all warnings specified in maintenance manuals, especially regarding health and safety matters.
14. Ensure that any tooling required to complete a task is the correct PN and, if required, calibration is in date.
15. Inform supervisor of any tool found out of calibration.
16. Consult the defects database on the re-occurrence of any defect for research purposes to avoid needless component replacements and improve quality of troubleshooting.
17. Ensure working areas, break area, and maintenance vehicles are kept in a clean and tidy condition.
18. Return all tooling to tool stores at the end of shift and update AMOS to reflect the tools’ location.
19. Keep the tooling area in a clean condition and repair or reorder any breakages as necessary.
20. Ensure all ground equipment is secure and refuelled prior to the end of shift.
21. Be aware of the cold weather procedure and ensure it is implemented when required.
22. Inspect all aircraft departing during icing conditions 1 hour prior to departure and advise of the de-icing operations status.
23. Be aware of the local high winds procedure and ensure it is put in place when required.
24. Inform the LMM if any engineer is not carrying out their duties as requested by the Shift Supervisor or the ACE.
25. Ensure station delay reports are completed within Event Tracking before the end of the day.
26. Must hold all company approvals as required by the company.
Requirements
Qualifications:
1. Hold a valid EASA Part 66 B1.1 / B2 licence.
2. Licence endorsed with ATR 72-212A (-600) Type rating - Additional Types are a plus.
3. Able to demonstrate recency of 6 months’ experience in the last two consecutive years on the ATR 72-212A - 600 aircraft.
4. Full clean driver licence.
