Deli Manager
The role of Deli Manager is a critical position within our client's outstanding retailer, based just outside of Cork city. Responsibilities:
* Manage the day-to-day operation of the deli department and delegate tasks to staff.
* Maintain high standards across the deli area, ensuring high-quality products and service are the norm.
* Produce high-end food and merchandising the deli area daily.
* Responsible for optimising stock levels and minimising waste/waste control in your department.
* Develop new ideas to drive sales and increase footfall in-store.
Key Responsibilities:
* Minimising waste and maintaining margins
* Experience in stock control and stock management is essential
* Ensure the implementation of food safety standards and H.A.C.C.P.
* Train staff per company policies and procedures
* Resolve any customer queries or complaints effectively and efficiently
* Maintain the deli area to a high standard per company planograms
* Experience within the fresh food industry desirable
* Own transport preferred
