Job Summary:
A highly motivated and safety conscious Utilities Technician is required to support the FM team on a client site. The successful candidate will be responsible for the ongoing maintenance of the site's infrastructure and facilities assets.
The role involves managing the workload for planned and reactive calls relating to installations such as HVAC, VSDs, BMS, Chillers, water systems, compressed air, boilers and various FM equipment.
The Utilities Technician will work within a self-managed team of multi-skilled technicians and contractors to ensure high standards in terms of work output and quality of work.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Manage the workload for planned and reactive calls relating to installations such as HVAC, VSDs, BMS, Chillers, water systems, compressed air, boilers and various FM equipment.
* Support all FM related tasks within a team of FM technicians.
* Adhere to all Health, Safety & Environmental regulations, permit to work and client procedures.
* Champion the development of planned and reactive work for utilities systems on the site.
* Self-Manage their workload to ensure availability to site for key daily tasks relating to the provision of services to the site.
* Develop and coordinate all equipment related procedures and ensure that all aspects of the service are tightly controlled in terms of service delivery.
* Manage aspects of service including the management of sub-contract services relating to areas of work.
* Work with the Engineering planning function to continuously improve the maintenance programme on areas of key responsibility.
* Attend regular client meetings relating to service.
* Follow all GMP rules and regulations.
* Follow all Statutory requirements.
* Work within a documented Permit to Work System.
Requirements:
* Senior Trades, City & Guilds or equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical discipline.
* Minimum 3 Years post qualification experience in a full time role within a regulated Pharmaceutical, Healthcare or Food and Beverage industry.
* HVAC, Chiller, Compressed air and supporting systems.
* Asset Care Maintenance services.
* Maintenance standards.
* Cost savings / minor works projects.
* To work within a self-managed team of multi-skilled technicians and contractors.
