Job Description
MCS Group are partnering with a Public Sector Organisation to fill an IT Technical Officer position in their ICT team.
Perform Helpdesk duties, respond to calls regarding IT equipment, and provide technical support hardware/software to all departments. Utilize IT management tools for Endpoint deployment and configuration, ensuring service is maintained across the organization.
The Role
* Provide technical support hardware/software to all departments
* Deploy and configure Endpoints with agreed software using IT management tools
* Assist senior staff to manage allocated ICT systems and maintain service consistency
* Induct and train new ICT staff and work-placement students
The Person
A Level 3 qualification (or higher) in a relevant subject area, HND in Computing or Information Technology, and minimum of 1 year's experience in managing an IT Service Management Team are required.
Experience in helpdesk support, troubleshooting, and Microsoft account support is also essential.
