Role Overview:
As an M&A Manager OR Assistant Director, you will manage and execute all aspects of the M&A lifecycle. You will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to identify, evaluate, negotiate, and integrate potential acquisitions. Your expertise will directly impact the company's strategic growth and contribute to its long-term success.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage the end-to-end M&A process
2. Collaborate with senior executives to develop M&A strategies, assess market opportunities, and provide actionable insights.
3. Conduct detailed financial analysis, including preparing business cases, financial models, and risk assessments.
4. Manage relationships with external advisors, including investment bankers, legal teams, and consultants, to ensure smooth execution of transactions.
5. Oversee the integration process post-acquisition, ensuring alignment with business strategy and realization of expected synergies.
6. Prepare presentations and reports for senior management and the Board of Directors, providing updates on transaction progress and performance.
7. Stay current on market trends, competitive landscapes, and regulatory changes affecting M&A activity.
Qualifications:
1. Several years of experience in M&A, investment banking, corporate development, or strategy consulting.
2. Strong financial modeling skills, with the ability to assess and structure complex transactions.
3. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple deals simultaneously.
4. Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships across all levels of the organization.
5. Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
6. In-depth knowledge of M&A processes, including due diligence, regulatory requirements, and integration best practices.
