Job Description: Chef De Partie
We are seeking an experienced Chef De Partie to join our dynamic kitchen team.
Main Responsibilities:
* Food Preparation and Presentation: Prepare, cook, and present dishes within your section to the highest standard.
* New Menu Development: Assist in the development of new menu items and specials.
* Kitchen Consistency: Ensure consistency in food preparation, presentation, and taste.
* Workplace Organisation: Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workstation.
* Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with the Head Chef and kitchen team to ensure smooth service.
* Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering, and minimise waste.
* Compliance: Comply with all health and safety regulations, food hygiene standards, and HACCP procedures.
* Team Support: Train and support junior kitchen staff as needed.
Requirements:
* Culinary Experience: A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role within a professional kitchen.
* Cooking Techniques and Food Safety: Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and food safety standards.
* Pressure Management: Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* Organisation and Time-Management: Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
* Teamwork and Attention to Detail: Team player with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
* Shift Flexibility: Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
