We have an exciting vacancy for a Digital Manager to deliver the Aviva Ireland Digital channel strategy with the Aviva Direct business. This role is a 12-month fixed term contract. Working cross functionally, the Digital Manager will lead a small team and has the overall responsibility for the end-to-end online experience, working to ensure that the business is positioned to win in the digital space with delivery of innovation and a best-in-class website.
The ideal candidate will have a commercial and innovative mindset with a passion for emerging/best in class technologies. They must also be comfortable with working at a fast pace to improve online customer experience and will have extensive experience in delivering market-leading Digital strategies with demonstrable results.
Responsibilities:
* Responsible for the performance of the end-to-end online customer journey experience, focusing on developing and implementing the Digital online acquisition, retention and self-serve strategies to deliver business targets.
* Responsible for determining and implementing the digital roadmap of the website and vision with delivery of new features and navigation improvements, sprint planning, driving testing and optimization programs to continuously improve the usability, design, content and conversion of the website to deliver on commercial targets.
* Lead consumer insight and testing to aid optimisation across the Aviva.ie website ensuring that full testing and monitoring programs are in place to optimise the journeys, understand and address site abandonment, improve customer satisfaction and site functionality.
* Work with the Marketing team and key stakeholders across Media and Marketing, measure and report performance for key Digital metrics and assess against goals.
* Manage production support on a day-to-day basis ensuring that issues related to the journeys are closed off; escalating issues to management when broader impacts are identified.
* Drive knowledge, support and delivery of innovative developments in digital, adding value to customer interaction and works cross functionally to evaluate new technologies to optimise online performance.
Skills & Experience required:
* Experience as a Digital Manager or a similar experience in managing the online customer journey is required.
* People management experience is not required but desirable.
* Analytical ability to absorb, interpret data and information to draw inferences. Experience with Adobe analytics is preferred.
* Experience of web development technologies, agile delivery, web service and source code management.
* Good knowledge of digital tagging tools ensuring MI requirements are managed and tracked throughout the journeys.
* Creativity - considers future trends, developments in UX/UI opportunities across digital and challenges the status quo.
