We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and ambitious Sous Chef to join our team at The Old Orchard Inn, Rathfarnham, working alongside executive chef, Gavin McDonagh.
Requirements
1. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 - 3 years experience in a similar senior role.
2. The ability to manage the kitchen in the absence of the head chef.
3. Innovative & creative in developing new dishes & trends.
4. Candidates should be able to demonstrate flair, creativity, and skill in the kitchen.
5. Experience in working in a high volume busy environment.
6. Must be able to work well on your own initiative and in a team environment.
7. Excellent knowledge of HACCP.
8. Must be available full time.
9. Fluent English.
10. References essential.
Experience in the following would be an advantage:
1. Training & development of kitchen personnel to the required standards of the restaurant.
2. Managing a team.
3. Rostering.
