Wallace’s Homevalue Hardware is looking for an experienced Delivery Driver to join our team. This is a full-time permanent position, and the successful candidate will work five days per week.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
* Ensuring the efficient and professional delivery of customers' orders.
* Interacting with customers in a positive manner and dealing with any queries they may have.
* Loading, unloading, preparing, and operating a delivery vehicle.
* Will be required to cover in the yard when necessary.
The ideal candidate will have/be:
* A full, clean C licence is essential and must have CPCs.
* Rigid lorry experience is a necessity.
* Knowledge of hardware and construction materials.
* Previous experience as a delivery driver is desirable.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Ability to use own initiative and work as part of a team.
* Manual handling experience.
* Forklift experience preferable.
