Job Description
We are actively seeking an experienced Bar Manager. The ideal candidate will have experience managing a busy bar, overseeing the general day-to-day running of the bar and its staff, ensuring the best possible customer service is provided to our customers every day.
Responsibilities
1. Ensure the bar is running smoothly and efficiently.
2. Ensure that the department complies with all Health and Safety measures necessary.
3. Work closely with the Operations Manager and Hotel Manager.
4. Ensure customer expectations are always exceeded.
5. Resolve all customer complaints in a timely and efficient manner.
6. Provide an approachable and welcoming atmosphere within the bar and between staff and customers.
7. Responsible for stock control.
8. Responsible for staff rostering, weekly forecasting, and overall beverage budgets & GP.
Qualifications
1. Minimum of 4 years management experience.
2. Excellent management skills.
3. A passionate leader, leading by example.
4. Must be a leader to their team both on and off the floor displaying energy, creativity, consistency, and a great work ethic.
5. Calm, confident, and professional.
6. Organised, flexible, and proactive to achieve and improve standards.
7. Manage customer and staff conflict head-on to avoid matters escalating.
8. Good problem-solving skills.
