Cluain Mhuire is a national center of innovation in public mental health service provision delivering a community based adult mental health service for the South East Coast of Co. Dublin to a catchment area of some 182,000 people approximately. In addition to general adult mental health services, Cluain Mhuire provides early intervention in psychosis, ADHD, gender and general hospital mental health services.
Assistant Director of Nursing
Full-Time, Permanent Post
Saint John of God Community Services, Community Mental Health Services Cluain Mhuire Service are now inviting applications for the post of Assistant Director of Nursing. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, flexible, innovative and committed to providing a quality service that responds to the needs and priorities of our service users.
Eligible applicants will be those who on the closing date for the competition:
Are registered, or are eligible for registration, in the Psychiatric Nurses Division of the Register of Nurses and Midwives maintained by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland.
And
Have 7 years post registration psychiatric nursing experience and 5 years psychiatric nursing management experience.
And
Have successfully completed a post registration programme of study, as certified by the education provider, which verifies that the applicant has achieved a National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ) major academic Level 8 or higher award maintained by Quality & Qualifications of Ireland (QQI) or can provide written evidence from the Higher Education Institute that they have achieved the number of ECTS credits equivalent to a Level 8 or higher standard in a health care or management related area.
And
Candidates must possess the requisite clinical, leadership, managerial and administrative knowledge and ability for the proper discharge of the duties of the office.
Remuneration
Salary Grade 2542 ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF NURSING, MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES on the Consolidated HSE Pay Scale
€70,887 - €85,539 per annum pro rata
Initial location
The initial location of this role is Blackrock, Co. Dublin. However, you may be required, from time to time, to work at SJOG CS's other places of business or/and the premises of such associated s companies or organisations as SJOG CS may require. You will be given as much notice of any such change of place of work as is reasonably practicable.
