About your role:
In this role you’ll be responsible for ensuring that all designated customers are invoiced correctly. You’ll manage your own portfolio of customers ensuring that all invoices including paper, electronic, automated and manual are produced by the contractual deadline. You’ll also identify any errors in billed volumes and reconcile data discrepancies. You’ll manage escalations, adhere to quality standards and SLA’s, and respond to customer complaints and queries. This role is part of a team of Billing Administrators handling invoices of Bord Gáis Energy’s SME customers.
This is a 12-month fixed term contract.
Here's what we’re looking for:
* Experience in semi-regulated market eg. power & utilities, energy or telecom is desirable
* Demonstrable end user knowledge of Oracle Utilities Customer Care and Billing (CC&B) is essential
* Proven interpersonal and communication skills - experience with interdepartmental and all levels of management interactions
* Ability to interface professionally and positively with internal stakeholders across the wider business in support of driving the audit and compliance agenda
* Personal accountability - the role requires attention to detail in making evaluative judgements based on the analysis of factual information
* Takes ownership of issues and have a solution driven attitude
* Strives to achieve and exceed daily targets
* Excellent planning and organisational skills - ability to work to targets and deadlines
* Results orientated, efficient, dynamic individual who is motivated by target achievement
* Excellent numeric skills and knowledge of principles involved in compliance and risk management
