Speech and Language Therapist (Community Care - Disability)
We are seeking a qualified Speech and Language Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team in Sligo, providing speech and language therapy inputs to children and adults with an intellectual disability across the North west and western regions of Ireland.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive assessments and interventions to enhance communication and functional abilities in individuals with complex disabilities.
Requirements
* Recognised third level qualification in Speech and Language Therapy.
* Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience, preferably working with children and young adults with disabilities.
* Ideal experience in delivery of communication aid programmes.
* Registration as a Speech & Language Therapist by the Speech & Language Therapists Registration Board at CORU.
* Valid Garda Clearance, valid Overseas Clearance (if applicable), full Drivers licence, and eligibility to work in Ireland without restriction.
Desirable Criteria
* Clinical experience working with children, adults, and their families as part of an interdisciplinary team.
* Demonstrated clinical skills in assessment, intervention, and diagnostics to meet specific caseload needs.
