Career Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join our team in Donabate, County Dublin. As a Site Engineer, you will play a vital role in managing on-site operations for residential construction projects.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate positioning of structural components, monitoring the quality of works, and ensuring that construction progresses according to the design specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform accurate setting out and leveling of works on-site using appropriate survey equipment (e.g., GPS, Total Station, and laser levels).
• Oversee daily construction activities, ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with the project schedule, design drawings, and safety regulations.
• Manage and coordinate subcontractors on-site, ensuring compliance with quality standards and addressing any technical issues that arise.
• Conduct regular site inspections and ensure that all work meets the required standards of accuracy and quality.
• Ensure that all construction activities are conducted in line with Health & Safety policies.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date site records, including daily reports on work completed, material usage, and any issues encountered.
• Prepare as-built drawings and technical documentation as required by the project management team.
• Work closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the project's success.
• Identify, assess, and resolve technical and construction issues swiftly to minimize delays in project progress
Requirements:
• A degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• A minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience in a Site Engineer role, with significant experience in setting out and using surveying equipment such as Total Stations, GPS, and laser levels.
• Familiarity with CAD software and construction project management tools is advantageous.
• A strong understanding of residential construction processes, local building regulations, and Health & Safety requirements.
• A full, clean driving license is required
