Our Client: Our client is an Irish award-winning Tier-1 Main Contractor with an excellent reputation in the market. The Role: Our client is looking to bring in a Sustainability Manager for a position that will initially be site-based, with a view to transitioning into a company-wide Sustainability remit in the future. Initially, the Sustainability Manager will implement the Sustainability Plan, ensuring targets like LEED, WELL, and ILFI Net Zero are met. Responsibilities include creating site-specific management plans, verifying material specifications (e.g., VOC certification, FSC timber), and tracking sustainability progress with regular reports. The Manager will also manage the technical submittal process, liaise with the project team and sub-contractors on sustainability compliance, and provide updates to the project manager. Additionally, they will record monthly energy readings and conduct sustainability training for the team and sub-contractors.
Required Background:
* Degree in Construction, Architecture or Engineering required
* 3+ years’ experience in Construction needed
* LEED/WELL accreditation highly beneficial
* Previous site-based experience on projects highly beneficial
* Ability to work collaboratively with other Stakeholders on projects
* Prior experience with Irish/UK Building Regs beneficial
* Ability to work freely in Irish market required
